Mobile UX Gap Agent

Finds every UX element that works on desktop but fails on mobile

  1. agent ›The colour swatches on your sofa pages are clicked by 21% of desktop visitors and 2% of mobile visitors. In the mobile capture they're 18 px wide, and the chat bubble covers the last two.
  2. you ›Mobile always converts worse than desktop. Isn't that just mobile?
  3. agent ›Not on this page. 'Add to basket' is at 9% on desktop and 8% on mobile, the image gallery at 33% and 30%. Only the swatches fall away, so it's their size and placement, not the device.
  4. agent ›The fix is an hour of development, not a redesign: 44 px swatches and the chat bubble moved up on product pages. It's one template, so all 160 sofa pages get it at once.

What it does

Historian captures your pages on desktop and on a 375 px mobile screen. This agent compares the two captures of the same page: click analytics, heatmaps and engagement, element by element. Where an element gets far fewer clicks on mobile than on desktop — more than the general difference between the devices — it looks at the mobile capture to explain why: the element is too small, pushed far down, covered by something else, or missing. The insight names the element, the desktop and mobile figures, the cause found in the capture and a fix, so the team knows what to change and not only that mobile is behind.
