Competitive Gap Identifier

Finds categories and products competitors are pushing that you are absent from

  1. agent ›Gap: three of your four competitors have featured kids' outdoor wear on their front pages in 9 of the last 10 weeks. You featured it once.
  2. you ›We do sell kids' clothes, though. It's right there in the menu.
  3. agent ›Two levels down, under 'Accessories & more'. Competitors A and C have it as a top-level menu item, and B gives it a front page tile every week.
  4. you ›So we should expand the range?
  5. agent ›That's for your buyers — I can't see margins or supply. What I can see: your 34 kids' products convert at 3.1%, above your site average. There's demand for what you already have; it just isn't being shown.

What it does

Compares the categories and brands your competitors put in their campaigns and hero content with your own category and product analytics. When competitors keep investing marketing effort in a category where your share of voice is low or your range is thin, that is a gap — or a sign the market is moving. Before it reports one, the agent reads the AI descriptions of your own pages as well as theirs, to confirm the gap is real and not just a naming difference. The insight names the category, how often each competitor featured it, where it sits on your site and how it performs there.
