Competitor Navigation & UX Spy

Tracks structural and navigation changes on competitor sites

  1. agent ›Structural change at Competitor A: since Tuesday, every product page has a 'Complete the look' row right under the add-to-cart button, above the description. It's on all their product templates.
  2. you ›Let's copy it. If they rolled it out everywhere, it works.
  3. agent ›I can see what they changed, not their sales. What I can see is the order: jackets only from 12 August, footwear from 2 September, everything from Tuesday. Shops rarely widen a trial three times if it isn't paying off.
  4. agent ›So: good enough for a test on your own traffic, not for a rollout. Their product page before and after is attached as a diff — hand it to whoever runs your tests.

What it does

Follows the structure of your competitors' sites over time: their navigation, their page templates and the elements on them. When a competitor adds a new type of page, restructures its menu or introduces a new pattern — a sticky basket bar, a new filter, a recommendations row in a new place — the agent shows it as a before-and-after diff from the captured pages, with a brief on the likely business intent and whether it looks like a test or a full rollout. Small tweaks produce no output, so what arrives is worth a look.

Competitor C added sticky add-to-cart bar on all product pages

Competitor C deployed a sticky add-to-cart bar on its mobile product pages last week, after two weeks on jacket pages only. A rollout to every product template after a trial on one category suggests a decision, not a test.
