Cross-Sell Revenue Identifier
Finds product pairings that are leaving money on the table
- agent ›Customers who buy the 'Nordic 3' tent come back for a groundsheet: 34% buy one within 30 days. Only 6% buy it in the same order. The tent page doesn't show it anywhere.
- you ›So we should bundle the two with a discount?
- agent ›No need to give away margin first. The third who buy it later already pay full price; the gap is the two thirds who never buy one from you. A 'You'll also need' block on the tent page reaches them without a discount.
- you ›How much is the gap worth?
- agent ›If same-order sales reached 20%, about DKK 12,000 a month in groundsheets you don't sell today. Run the block for four weeks; if it falls short, a bundle is the next test.
What it does
Your customers already tell you what belongs together: they buy it, just not always in the same order. This agent uses order lines to find pairs of products that customers often end up buying together, and compares how often they buy the pair in one session with how often they buy it eventually. Where the gap is large, the second product is being bought later, or not at all, because nothing put it in front of them. Before it reports a pair, it reads Historian's AI description of the first product's page to confirm that there is no cross-sell, related products or bundle element on it already. The insight names the pair, the two rates, and the revenue from closing the same-session gap.
An example insight.
What a result from Cross-Sell Revenue Identifier looks like. The numbers are an illustration, not a customer's.
Scarf + glove bundle could increase AOV by 18%
42% of customers who buy scarves also view gloves within the same session, but only 8% add both. The scarf product page shows no related products. A visible pairing on it could close this gap.
