Daily Competitor Campaign Monitor

Alerts when competitors make a significant campaign move — silent when they don't

  1. agent ›Competitor move this morning: Competitor B's front page now opens with '25% off all down jackets' and free returns. Yesterday it was a brand story. Nothing above the fold on your front page mentions down jackets.
  2. you ›Do we match it? 25% is a lot of margin.
  3. agent ›Not necessarily. Their last two down jacket sales ran six and eight days. And your own down jackets are selling at full price right now, at 3.4% conversion — no sign yet that you're losing them to B.
  4. you ›Then why tell me at all?
  5. agent ›Because the gap is visibility, not price. Your hero shows garden tools in October. Putting down jackets there costs nothing and puts you in the same conversation for the week their sale runs.

What it does

Historian captures your competitors' front pages and describes them with AI: the campaign, the offer, the hero message, the products in focus. This agent reads those descriptions every day and compares them with the day before. Most days nothing meaningful changes, and on those days it says nothing. When a competitor launches a campaign, starts or ends a promotion or changes its hero message, it writes a short brief: what changed, what it likely signals, how long that competitor's similar moves have lasted before, and whether your own front page has a corresponding gap to address.
