Hero Banner Revenue Optimizer
Tracks whether the hero is earning its place — the most expensive pixel on the site
- agent ›Swap the two hero slides on the front page. Slide 2, the wool blankets, earns DKK 3.40 per click. Slide 1, the new candles, earns DKK 1.45 — 2.3× less — and gets 71% of the hero's clicks.
- you ›Really? The candles are our new range. What if I just rewrite the candle slide's headline?
- agent ›That headline has changed twice in three weeks, 'New in' and then 'Autumn light'. Its click share moved 2 points; revenue per click didn't move at all. People click the candles and don't buy them.
- you ›And if the blankets go first, won't the candles disappear?
- agent ›Second place still gets about 30% of hero clicks. Swap them for a week; I'll compare revenue per click before and after, and tell you if the candles fall below DKK 1.
What it does
The hero is the first thing every visitor sees and the most contested space on the site, so it should be held to account like ad spend. Every day this agent follows the hero banners on your key page templates: how big a share of the page's clicks they get, and how much revenue those clicks lead to. It compares today's hero with its own history and with the template's usual level. When a hero's performance drops right after its content changed, it says so the next morning, with the before and after and what Historian's AI description says changed in the hero. The insight puts a weekly revenue figure on an underperforming hero and recommends what to do: revert, test the two against each other, or reorder.
An example insight.

Revert hero banner to previous version
Hero banner click-through dropped 34% after Tuesday's update. The previous version converted 2.1× better and its clicks led to 18% of total site revenue. Reverting would recover an estimated week's revenue from the hero.
