Decodes competitor discount strategies to sharpen your promotional calendar

  1. agent ›Pattern: Competitor C has opened a sale every second Thursday since April — 13 in a row. Always 15–20% off, always dining furniture, always over by Sunday.
  2. agent ›If it holds, the next one starts this Thursday.
  3. you ›Then we go 25% on dining that Thursday and take their weekend.
  4. agent ›That's fighting on their ground at a lower margin. In all 13 sales they've never discounted sofas or lighting — and those are your two strongest categories.
  5. you ›So we sit it out?
  6. agent ›Go a day earlier, on sofas: a push on Wednesday with a delivery promise instead of a discount. You reach inboxes first, and you're not compared on the price of a dining table.

What it does

Builds the promotion history of each competitor from the AI descriptions of their pages and images over time: how often they run a promotion, how deep the discount goes, what conditions come with it (minimum order, free shipping, member prices) and which product categories it covers. Over months, that history shows patterns — a sale every third week, always on the same weekday, always on the same category. The agent surfaces those patterns, predicts the next move when a pattern is strong enough, and recommends how to plan around it: get there first, stay out of the way, or compete where they never discount.
